With our head office in Southgate (N14) it makes for easy access to an ever expanding cleint base. In addition our office in the city (EC2) allows us to deliver a more accessible portfolio of services right on your doorstep. We feel location is key for supporting and staying in contact with our clients and when you need us we will be there for you and your business.

Coverage
For fast efficient support response times we try to resolve most support calls via remote access. However should a site visit be required we can provide support and maintenance to all areas in London and most of the South-East. Technical Engineer, full time
A successful and dynamic North London and City based company providing IT solutions for SME businesses across London and the South East. We specialise in Networking, Security / Communications, and Business Continuity solutions - our technology partnerships include Cisco, Microsoft, HP and Dell.

Our successes and capabilities are driven by the people who work with us and we are looking to recruit a committed Technical Engineer to join our team.

The candidate must have the ability to plan and implement solutions based on the following skill set requirements & pre-requisites:

Cisco certified (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), with experience on configuring routers, switches and firewalls with a good understanding on networks/IP and experience troubleshooting problems.

Microsoft qualified (MCP, MCSE), with Microsoft Server 2003 and Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory including Group Policies and Security Permissions.

Supporting users, Microsoft Operating Systems remotely on various networks and dealing with clients to help resolve issues or escalate where needed.


Additional key skills that will be advantageous include VMware, Cisco ASA/PIX, VPNs, VoIP, backup and data storage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, an effective team player and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise are all skills that would be readily applied within this role.

We would expect the right candidate to be highly self-motivated with a professional attitude. In addition the candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and be available for a face to face interview.

The right candidate would receive on going technical training covering the company's main technologies and further relevant training would be provided when appropriate.

Location: Based from our Southgate offices (approx 50 metres from Southgate Underground Station)
